How’d I get here: I began as a high school math teacher where i loved utilizing technology to help my learners grow. Then in 2020, it became apparent that educational technology was a MUST for classroom educators. I took up a role as a technology lead which allowed me to support classroom educators optimize their learning experiences. Through this, I realized I have a passion for impacting learning environments and found myself really enjoying creating e-learning experiences that were memorable and created change. So into Learning Experience Design I went!
My drive: In every role, I have held one thing above all: I want to help others accomplish their goals and have success. By impacting learning experiences, I can bring others up while also teaching them how to be successful.
What I bring to the table: My edge as a learning designer lies in my ability to empathize with learners paired with my ability to problem-solve. Through an intuitive empathic personality, I am able to see multiple perspectives while designing creative content and experiences that are relevant to learners. i also love identifying pain points and intuitive resolutions to issues.
The fun stuff: When I am not creating, you can find me spending time with my children and family, doing math problems for fun (crazy, I know), or out exploring some part of the world around me.
